HERO SQUARED Trade Paperback is out!

I don’t draw many comics these days with my writing and producing schedule eating up so much of the day. However, I did have the wonderful opportunity to draw a short sequence in Keith Giffen’s and JM Dematteis’s brilliant and hilarious HERO SQUARED. The TPB is out now from BOOM and I highly recommend picking up a copy! Joe Abraham’s art in this book is awesome.

TAG & 10 Trade Paperback is out!

Giffen’s TAG tpb came out last week from BOOM. Some really nice dark, horrific stuff in that little gem. And I got a story in there as well…

“BONUS: Included in TPB form for the first time as an “extra” is Giffen’s and my “10” one-shot — ten innocent people become unwilling contestants in a game of death. Given 10 bullets and a gun, it’s kill or be killed as they’re forced to hunt the other 10 contestants! In the dark, horrific tradition of Battle Royale!”

So pick up TAG and get a little 10! And check out Andy Kuhn’s stunning artwork on our story. That guy is amazing.

THE SPIDER ring!

This June, Baen Books will be also publishing The Spider in a new trade paperback, The Spider: Robot Titans of Gotham. To help promote this event, Argosy Communications, Inc., owner of The Spider, is reviving the most cherished premium of the Pulp era: The Spider Ring!

The ring was designed by Chris Kalb who coordinated its manufacturing as well.

I got mine! Look for them at San Diego Comic Con where I’ll be in Komikwerks booth #2103. And check out this gorgeous Steranko cover. Between the awesome Moonstone SPIDER CHRONICLES I got to be a part of and this one, it’s a good year to be a fan of THE SPIDER.

“KIDS’ WB! ON THE CW ADDS NEW ANIMATED
ACTION-ADVENTURE SERIES TO 2007-2008 LINEUP

Top-Rated Saturday Morning Kids Broadcast Network Bolsters Slate With “Eon Kid,” “Magi-Nation,” “World of Quest” and “Will & Dewitt” to Complement New Spider-Man Series & Returning Warner Bros. favorites.

BURBANK, CA (MARCH 29, 2007) – Kids’ WB! on The CW, the No.1 rated Saturday morning kids broadcast slate, will add five new animated series to its 2007-2008 lineup, it was announced today by Kids’ WB! Senior Vice President and General Manager Betsy McGowen.

Adventure and comedy make perfect partners when a spoiled young prince is unevenly paired with a square-jawed hero to defeat evil and restore order to their kingdom in “World of Quest.” When his parents are kidnapped by the nefarious Lord Spite, pampered Prince Nestor enlists the assistance of Quest, the planet’s greatest warrior. Quest is the only hero with enough strength, skill and courage to wield the Shatter Soul Sword, which is the only weapon that can defeat Lord Spite. However, the Sword is missing – and the prince, warrior and villain are all on a desperate mission to find it. Based on the KOMIKWERKS graphic novel series by Jason T. Kruse, “World of Quest” is produced by Cookie Jar Entertainment and premieres within the Kids’ WB! lineup in Fall 2007. Jason T. Kruse and Shannon Eric Denton will be actively consulting as well as writing on the series.”
