Zapt! #2 is on the way from Tokyopop!

The holidays are approaching so remember, ZAPT! makes a fabulous stocking stuffer for all your nieces and nephews!

TokyoPop is debuting a line of “Manga Readers” – manga being the Japanese art form of graphic novels. These books spare 8- to 12-year-old readers the challenge of having to read from back to front, and from right to left, as with traditional manga. They’re slick, easy to follow and all-action.

Common Foe #4 is out!

Common Foe Keith Giffen World War Two wwII Shannon Denton

After much delay the fourth issue of the ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY reviewed COMMON FOE is out. Wizard has a great online preview! However, we have a new artist in the amazingly talented Federico Dallocchio. Look for it as well as TABULA RASA and BROTHER BEDLAM, also published by Image Comics!

Review from Silver Bullet Comics…”Giffen and Shannon Denton have started off their war tale exactly how it should begin: with wanton carnage, senseless death, and inimitable feats of courage. Add in a bit of mystery and the hint of ancient evil, and things start to swirl nicely. … they can officially celebrate their success in two difficult genres.”

Negative Burn !

Keith Giffen Shannon Denton Damion Hendricks Image Comics Desperado ghosts Viet Nam

Image Comics NEGATIVE BURN #4 just hit the stands. Giffen and I have a story in it entitled MaQui that was illustrated by Magnus Robot Fighter artist Damion Hendricks. The story is set during the Viet Nam war as we follow a group of GI’s stranded in a haunted section of the jungle where even death doesn’t offer a way out.
