PRAISE FOR COMMON FOE…
“An inspired genre mash-up. When it begins, you think you’re reading an excellent, hard-boiled war comic, then the floor drops out from beneath you and you realize that the term “horrors of war” has shadings that most of us have never considered.”
-DWAYNE MCDUFFIE ( producer of Warner Bros. JUSTICE LEAGUE and STATIC SHOCK)
“With Common Foe, Denton and Giffen have taken the war comic and given it the best twist I’ve seen in a few decades. Highly enjoyable and gripping stuff.” – ED BRUBAKER (Writer of CAPTAIN AMERICA, DAREDEVIL, CRIMINAL, SLEEPER, IRON FIST)
“A war comic with a twist. Visceral and guttural. This team provides a great slow burn tale that eventually explodes in a glorious orgy of vampire violence.” – JOE CASEY ( Co-creator of Cartoon Network’s BEN 10 )
“Writer Keith Giffen and Shannon (Eric) Denton craft a rat-a-tat narrative…”-ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY
