At the intersection of film and comics, you’ll find some creators not only comfortable operating in both spaces but thriving. Filmmakers and comics creators Rebekah and David McKendry (Barstow, Glorious), Shannon Eric Denton (Monster Forge, Return of the Monsters), Dirk Blackman (Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, Savager), David Hartman (Phantasm: Ravager, Kraken), and Kevin Grevioux (Underworld, I, Frankenstein) discuss horror’s influence on their careers and their love of monsters.

Monster Forge presents: The Explorer’s Guide to the Monstrous Cryptid Creatures of the United States

The Official Monster Forge CRYPTIDAGORIA

Writer & Monster Forge founder Shannon Eric Denton (Kingdom Riders, League of Legends), and artist Chris Gugliotti (Wonder Woman, Teen Titans GO) team up for a brand new beautifully illustrated FIELD GUIDE HANDBOOK OF AMERICA’S CRYPTID CREATURES LIKE NO OTHER!

Cryptozoology, “the study of hidden animals”, is the search for and study of animals whose existence is disputed or unsubstantiated. So what better way, for burgeoning cryptozoologists, to enter the field than with this handy resource? From Alabama to Wyoming, Denton and Gugliotti have you covered as they offer you a closer look at over fifty of these amazing creatures. These monstrous creatures may have been hidden―some of them for centuries―from the prying eyes of adventurers, scientists, cryptozoologists, and everyday citizens but with his handy field guide they won’t remain hidden for long!
